Mr. Miller's electrical career started as a young man in the Washington, D.C. metro area. While working for a prominent electrical contractor, he excelled from an Apprentice to a Journeyman and then receiving his Master Electricians License. In 1962, Mr. Miller decided to go on his own and start his own electrical business. With having a family of four, Mr. Miller to a chance and form Thomas Miller Electric.
Steven first met his mentor, Tom K. Miller, while studying the electrician trade at his high school career training center. Tom offered him a position as an apprentice and the rest is history. After graduating high school Steve continued his education and became a Journeyman Electrician. In the spring of 2013, with young twin daughters at home and after finishing all the needed requirements, Steve tested and passed his Master Electrician test and received his Master Electrician's License in Maryland. Now Steven has excepted the "Company Klien's" and manages the day to day operations of the company.
Tom began his electrical career working along side his father as a young man. His experience was gained while also working for the U.S. Federal Government and other Electrical Contractors in the Washington, D.C. metro area. As his fathers electrical business began to expand, Tom partnered with his father to become the second generation of the family business. He received his Master Electricians License in Maryland and then took over the day to day operations of the business. Today, Tom enjoys farming, playing golf and traveling with his wife, Bonnie, and is still involved in the operations of the company but has passed the "Company Klien's" to his apprentice, Master Electrician Steven Schuster, who has taken over the daily operations.
